Good food along Hwy 3?

Planning a trip from K55 (Campo Lopez) to Mike's Sky Ranch in April. Can anyone recommend some places to eat anywhere from Ojos Negros to Valle de Trinidad?

Thank you,

John Harper

Ojos Negro - Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Has dining, great food and a nice setting. Take the cheese tour and tasting, then have lunch or dinner. off the beaten path, but worth it. Follow the road/marked signs off of Hwy 3

La Cava de Marcello - Ramonetti Cheese

The Valle T taco stand. On the corner on the right where you turn to go to the Pmex in town, about a quarter mile off the hwy. Some of the best tacos in Baja Norte.

Carlos, could that be in San Matias... which is just a mile or so past the Mike's Sky Rancho turnoff?

We're headed down on Monday, April 10, so the Ojos Negros place won't be happening. I believe I've read about the taco place in Valle T.

Hi Dave,

It must just be, we stopped there last year on our way back from Bahía de San Luis Gonzaga, a guy runs it and cooks as well, it seems like it's a local's favorite.

Bump for John M who was asking about a San Matias restaurant he saw on Nomad. Loncheria Alexis is at Km. 141+ (just east of the town entrance on the highway).

I have given up except or Ojos and VT. I VT down the road from the PEMEX where there are more than one good places. The first restaurant on the left is just fine as is the taco shop on the right if the guy is open.
In Ojos sometimes I cannot find anything open. I hate driving around.
The restaurant in VT is always open.
