I thought Cabo had a water supply problem? That will be a lot of visitors and New Yorkers will certainly add flavor to the tourist mix!

The Cabo San Lucas airport is located off Highway 19 as you enter Cabo. The airport is permitted as a International Airport. It is owned
by Sebastian Romo. I spoke to Sebastian a number of years ago when
he was importing a fuel truck from San Diego. Sebastian owns several
business interest in Baja Sur. The Glass Factory etc. In the 80's and
early 90's I would go to the airport to watch car races. Sebastian always said, "someday my airport will entertain international flights
providing close access for travelers to Cabo, Pescadero and Todos Santos."

His vision may someday happen but for now it will be for the rich & famous. Lots of corporate jets and Calafia Airlines fly-in daily. Also some
military planes/helicopters and El Presidente's plane when he comes to this area.

I doubt there's a water supply problem for the wealthy (which includes tourists) anywhere in coastal Mexico.

There is some true in this statement. New resorts have been required to have their own desalination plant for a few years so building new resorts
will not effect the water levels to the city.
The Puerta Paraiso Mall, Palmilla, all of the Pueblo Bonitos, Grand Solmar and Cabo Villa Resorts have their own desalination...just to name a few.
Barrios and gated communities have problems. Lots of water trucks making deliveries in Cabo Bello, Ventanas and other areas...for the ones that can
afford to purchase.
