leaving July 4th. on a Baja fishing trip

Hey all you lip wreckers out there, going to be going from Tijuana to Totos Santos on a major fishing journey. Stopping in Esenada, San Quintin ( for the July 8th. Beer and oyster fest ) also fishing of course. Then hitting up anywhere I find to surf and panga fish along the way. Stops at Shari and Juan's place, Muege, loreto, La Paz etc.

I'm traveling alone but people are easy to meet. Don't want to rent a panga for just me so will be trying to partner up with whomever.

I'm retired and can take as long as I wish.

Will be trip reporting as I go.

Happiness to all
Paco

sounds like a great plan! I bet there are gonna be quite a few who are envious - be sure to post a travel log. May the fish come right to your pole.

Good in moderation. Gotta watch out for all that mercury due to dirty mines and dirty coal!

thanks for the concern Sr.goat....and I concur...I am a moderation type gal anyway.

Sure would be cool to have some kind of little meter gadget you could point at a fish and get a mercury or radiation reading...maybe a new phone app?

I was a bit nervous about eating wild salmon up on Vancover Island due to radiation issues.

Most of us are past child bearing age so mercury isn't such a big deal.

Radiation levels at ***ushima power plant in Japan has reached 530 sieverts...
it's OUT OF CONTROL
previous levels in 2011 at the plant were 73 sieverts per hour.

1 sievert will cause radiation sickness and nausea
5 sieverts would kill half exposed to it within a month
10 sieverts would prove fatal within weeks

the radiation is spreading across the pacific ocean to Canada and America
all fish in the northern pacific are contaminated to a level that it is unsafe to eat them

the "mainstream" news is not covering this because
it would damage the "fishing economy" $$$

Eventually the radiation contamination will be all along the Western seaboard from Canada to South America.

People will not be able to swim or eat any fish in the Pacific.

The powers that be can not tell us the truth as that would end up collapsing the property values and seriously effecting the economy.

These sort of things make me dispise Governments.

Oh Man, I'm so happy I'm as old as I am !

actually I seen lots of stuff on the "weirdo web" but this news is being suppressed on the mainstream news...

I have seen the ocean current charts for radiation spill with precictions

I am having trouble finding up to date pictures of northern japan where the damage is located

do you realize north pacific ocean tuna packed in water has soy added to "correct the taste"

sf and h ...I cannot prove my statement
but
i'm pretty sure it's correct
