Anyone ever gotten an import permit for a vehicle with a US temp license

I.e. a 60-day paper temp license?

Do you mean not having a metal license plate?
If so I bought a 2015 Subaru and 3 days later I entered Mexico for 5 months, I called ahead of time and they said all I needed was the bill of sale from the dealer and the temporary license that was taped to the windshield...No problem crossing at KM21 Nogales...
