Latest in San Felipe protests?

Hi, can someone update us to the latest in the San Felipe protests. I know the leader of the fisherman was arrested on drug charges which they claim were planted.

My friends had trouble getting home Sunday as the protestors blocked the road they were on. They waited for 15 minutes, then decided to drive through it making people move out of the way.

Updates please.

I just read a protest at the Border (opinions are that it is at the
Downtown crossing,( going in/out?, don't know), I suppose going into Mexicali would be effective, is scheduled
for tomorrow, 29th, as you
posted, this is in response to the arrest of the head of the
San Felipe commercial fishing group, which reports are that
cops in Mexicali, probably at a staged traffic stop of him, claimed
to have found? some drugs. The continuing saga of the
ban on fishing in the Vaquita area. Doesn't mention any
activity in SF proper
Was a blockade of sorts sometime over the weekend
at the arches on 5 leading into SF

Spoke with a friend/resident in San Felipe who wishes to remain anonymous this morning. He knows a section of Hwy 5 between town and the marina was closed briefly on Sunday by a human chain of protestors. He was let through. He also saw a government truck on fire on Saturday.

Since it's anonymous, can't verify but I trust him. If you are crossing the border tomorrow, be alert and prepared for a delay sounds like.

Oh, and the leader who has been arrested is Sunshine Rodriguez.

There is a reason people want to be anon. Just a "fisherman and real estate entrepreneur " Sunshine is a powerful person.

To really get insight. read or translate this article. You will see why it is best to be anon.
