Calafia flys out of TJ to Loreto.

I've booked several flights on their website for friends flying Guaymas to Loreto - it's very good.

Slight highjack: I just did a search from the Sacramento area to Loreto:

SMF to LAX; LAX to LTO using Southwest/Alaska = $475 round trip

SMF to SAN; TJ to LTO using Southwest and Califia = $476 round trip plus what ever it costs to get from SAN to TJ.

Every Tuesday Alaska Airlines posts a flight sale for various destinations. Go to their website and look under the tab "explore" and then under "deals" and then flights.

You never know if it might have what you are looking for.

The only Westjet flights I can find to or from a US airport and Mexico, require a flight to Canada to make the connection. Seems a bit out of the way to me!

...that's a great clue to improve the prices. Thanks all for the hints!

..hoping Calafia might open up the days available.

Westjet being from Canada isn't a problem, though I haven't seen anything for Loreto with them., though perhaps they'll come into play in february, when the Gal comes down for a 2nd round. It's amzing how different it is to co-ordinate flights to someone's holiday schedule,,,rather than flight convenience$,,,, never had to worry 'bout dat.

I'm amazed how flight price start to jack up in february,, woulda thought ridership as still going strong.

Westjet

I checked the West jet site; https://www.westjet.com/en-ca/index and the only flights from Loreto are to Canadian airports.

Edit; I should have noticed that you are trying to get to Canada. I was trying to help you avoid extra travel to get to a US airport!

...yah,, I can scrub westjet to YVR from the realm of possibilities,, they only depart Loreto on Saturdays,, and price climbs substantially each week after mid january,,, service also stops in april.
