1-2 Month Asuncion or Scorpion Bay starting mid-July

Good day everyone. I'll be retiring from the Coast Guard this summer and am looking at renting a place for a month or two in Asuncion or Scorpion Bay beginning mid-July. I have a place in San Lucas, but it will be pretty hot in July and I want to do some surfing. It'll be three adults, including myself, and one labrador dog. Anyone have any contacts for a place at a reasonable price in these areas? Thanks...

BA = locals who are happy to share waves

Yeah.... I think we are leaning toward BA. It’s been a while since I did any surfing, so a nice laid back environment is what I’m looking for.

BA is all beach break but the vibe is positive, unlike the other places. don't get me wrong, a head high wave at scorp will change your life if 5 kooks don't drop in on your head!

First off: congrats on your retirement!

Talk to Shari about rentals in BA. She has houses and a B&B.

You can easily sneak down to Scorpion and spend a couple days but go back to peacefulness in BA.

I did not know the surfers in Abre had a bad reputation among surfers? How awful.

Abreojos, has a very mellow crew as long as Razors or 3 prongs isn't going off. There are many there that just longboard inside the bay.

I mispoke. Its not typically the locals who are the problem.
