A trip
Will try to do some thoughts and attach photos of a trip from end of December to few days in January.
After camping up and down Baja since the 70's thought it was time to take it easy for once..
So a Baja Nomad inspired trip we did. After some health issues and work schedule changes..the family could not make it so my fishing buddy agreed to
take their spot..
Took the "3" from Ensenada to San Felipe..Tacos at "El Guero" on the Malecon with some beers.
Third photo is the Windmill from my Grandfathers Orchard in Riverside, CA that went to "La Roca" camp below San Felipe in the late 1970's..Still
there.

before the next day..(all the road conditions were good and Military Checkpoints friendly...

I'm going to have to stop there on my next trip. I've been hearing great things about their food and from your pictures I've been missing out.
Thanks

so we get into Mulege and Check into the Hacienda. Go to El Candil for eats and drinks and then over to Los Equipales for night caps..Photo with the
best Mustache in town and ask if we can put our drinks on Roger's tab. He says Roger will always have a tab here but we cannot use it..(damn) Then
back to Hacienda, bring our own bottle in (they were not serving booze..not sure why.) and try to convince Alma that there really are cool signatures
behind this paint and can we put the room charges on Rogers tab..(no again)

last photos
so like we needed to eat again...Los Pelatos had great tacos..
If you havent notice alot of drinking eating and photos..A Pompano themed trip..so where do you stay on a trip like this.."Graceland "baby..
One kind of beer allowed in the Casa..Pacifico
And I dont like the place at all...make some c-cktails and can actually feel Roger's presence in the house..(would say something about feeling
co-pilot but would not be nice)
Estrella Del Mar for New Years..Stopped to just have a beer and then go clean up and returnndidnt work that way..Man we were way under dressed.Cecilia
and Coco and staff were great. Fast Freddy and Slow learners just has good as I had been told. And no ..you cannot use Rogers tab...New friends back
at the house for night cap ..Alot of fun people we met at the bar..everyone down here really great people.

Happy New Year as I try to do justice to a famous photo. Have some coffee and just have a day in Paradise.
Thanks for everyone's patience with my report, and Thanks to all the Nomads who keep telling the stories and remembering the tales and letting people
dream. We did fish..Nice Snappers and Trigger fish from the panga..
Take care all

Was it on the wall in La Hacienda where lots of famous people had written their names, only to be painted over by a gringo owner?

I believe it was the correct wall...would need some people that might know exactly which wall...this was at the end of the bar...wish the signatures
were still there.
