It looks as if the cactus is dying with the top arm still being alive. My guess is that Hector and Sunshine wanted to place their name somewhere in the desert on a cactus specimen and chose this one. The bungee cords? That looks awful if they were the ones who did this to the poor cactus.:(

Hector and Sunshine


Two beloved pets laid to rest, came for the fun, where fun is the best. Thes two are about 10 miles south of BOLA on the road to San Francisquito nearer to Bahia Las Animas. They get dolled up for every occasion. This was Xmas 03 and they had party hats on for the New Year

Hector & Sunshine over the years!


Located between L.A. Bay and Camp Gecko, about 3 miles south of town, where the road bends from southwest to southeast and begins to go downhill. It is a monument to two lovers... so, I was told.
