Beach camping near san quintin?
I heard there was a beach camping spot called enriques or eduardos near san quintin. Does anyone have any info on this spot or another one near san
quintin? Im looking for a place to set up a tent, spearfish, and regular fish. Thanks!

There is El Pabellon south of San Quintin around KM 15/16. It's an RV camp with tent camping. I don't know about the fishing. I think David K did a
write up on it in one of his trip reports last year.

Yes, there is Los Olivos at km. 1.5 near the road to the Old Mill on the bay, and the two El Pabellon RV parks on the beach (km.16 and 16.5). I think
photos are in my Trip #3 report in 2017?

Do yourself a favor if you want to spearfish and stay along the point. The open beaches and up into the bay are open to ocean swells. Get outside
with the point at your back.

My fishing experience here around Pabbelion and hotel, and points directly south, has always been vast quantities of Barred Surf Perch and the
occasional Jacksmelt. The clamming here was always great. Anybody catch halibut or white seabass at these spots? Was always able to camp on the beach
directly below the hotel. Spearfishing could be tough. This is strong beachbreak with a big impact zone.

Thanks for all the help! I have speared south near guerrero negro, and vis was great with lots of sea life (halibut, clams, corbina, etc). I have
tried several times near la fonda and primo tapia and it's always been bad. I'm looking for a nice camping spot where there's good vis, but not a 12
hour drive.

Just stay tucked up well inside the bay and hope a south swell isnt in the water.

I’ve surfed all along the stretch from cuatro casas through san Quintín down to el Rosario and the water visibility is always horrible. I have
talked to local commercial divers that always say the same as well. I haven’t had any luck with snorkeling until south of punta baja.
