Excess has its limits....

Big fires leave a bigger scar on the beach...smaller fires allow the wood supply to last longer, a person can stand/sit closer, and one to still have an enjoyable experience.... :light:

Jizz,
The ladies don’t like it when you spend your wood in one big, fast flame. Tone it down, make your wood last, the ladies will like it better :light:

Woke!

There is a saying that goes.. It's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought an idiot than start a giant fire on a beautiful remote Baja beach and remove all doubt that you are a irresponsible , selfish childlike punk

Eggsackly! All of these tree huggers can't get their heads around 7+BILLION people in the world yet having some fun in our daily existence is somehow wrong? Dumb F U C K-ers are so wrapped up in their cocoon that they can't see the beauty just outside!

Woody,
I like a good fire as much as hugging trees  but don't need to be excessive to "see the beauty just outside!"....treading lightly is being respectful....and doesn't have to make life second rate....

Don't need to blow things up to enjoy life....some guys doing donuts or getting stuck in mud "to see what she could do" is a bit infantile. My impression is that you are sensible guy....and respectful while having your fun....so, not picking a fight here

A good fire is an enhancement to the beauty outside....I like to spark one up when conditions allow....

And size does matter...each to their own.

When it's cold you need a large fire to keep warm.

The right fire to roast a hotdog or bigger fire for more people.
