We loved that place!
It was closed in July 2015 but was open last year in February.

Here are some photos from July 2009:

Mulege, out by the lighthouse at the end of the road throught town.

They were open earlier this year. Probably had some problems due to the road being a gooey mess while they hauled out the mud from digging out the estuary on that side. That changed when the moved over to the other side this spring.
Don't know what happens during the summer out there.
She may have been getting it ready after Hurricane Lydia blew through in Sept.

The Racing Bar "Carlos" picks up a lot of the traffic on that side now.

Hope she an keep things going...

Great place to eat and watch the moon come up over the water.
It's been hard for them with the hurricanes......

Mtnpop got it...

Sorry John, I thought everyone knew the location or had read my trip reports (memory test, lol).

You can see El Sombrerito hill (lighthouse) which is at the mouth of the river in Mulegé. El Patron is at the end of the road along the river, north side... across the river from Serenidad hotel.

Here is my map with Mulegé...

Ged, I was joking... John M and I are good friends. It is not easy to hear humor in typed words but those who know my personality know I am about having fun in Baja.

Chuckie,
Where do you get this idea I freeload drinks? I have poured more margs or beers for Nomads while in Baja....than any of them have offered me.

And I don't measure the progress of my day or walks by the beer...

Just sayin' ...
