Coastal Road Between Pt. Marquez and Pt. Conejo

Heard there is now locked gate North of Punta Marquez preventing driving up the coast to Punta Conejo? Any verification of this ?

If you stick to the coastal road, you will have no problem.

If you drive up the beach (which is illegal anyway), there is private property and fences and there are also rocky points that are not possible to get around.

I drove from Punta Conejo south to Punta Marquez in August of 2017, no locked gates on the road that parallels the coast... It is not always close to the ocean but is the main road of the old days and has been the Baja 1000 route a few times.
