Look closely and you will not see actual contact, at least I didn't and I was there.
Did you see the show, it is on again on July 16? Check your time: Travel Channel, Vikings in the Desert.
The Baja part is only in the final 10 minutes with about 4 minutes of Scott and me in Baja. He was using his hand to measure ratios of the sail, as he
is big into Free Masonry and all the math they consider sacred or special. He noted there were 8 triangles in the sail, as 8 is a special number with
5 on one side and 3 on the other.
Anyway, he is a geologist and has respect for such things. Thanks for your concern. I can only imagine the hundreds of people before who have touched
it, and it is still as visible as ever. I think touching is more critical with pictographs (painted rock)? Petroglyphs are a chisseled rock. I always
avoid touching so skin oil doesn't add anything.
See the photos I took of the TV crew over the 4 days we were together in my original post: http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=92242

He touched it!
If Dave says he didn't touch that's good enough for me. It is a photo so it's an optical elusion.
I said the same thing wayyy back in this thread.
