Fish ID

A friend of mine asked me for help buying fish at the market. Here's what I know. Pretty much any kind of rockfish (firm, flaky) = Cabrilla, halibut = linguado, pacific whitefish (soft or mushy cheap) pierna, triggerfish (firm, skin like sandpaper) = cochito or cochi, clownfish very firm (considered unacceptable to buy reef fish) perico, yellowtail (pretty abundant, excellent sashimi) = Jurel, yellowfin tuna (primo sashimi) = atun aleta amarilla, red snapper (excellent firm rockfish like cabrilla but usually bigger) = pargo, Mahi mahi (soft flesh great grilled) = dorado, roosterfish (bait - dark meat oily) = pez gallo, wahoo (rarely seen in mkt. good eating sportfish) = wahoo, mackerel (small wahoo) sierra, shark (several types good grillled, very firm difficult to cook correctly - drys out) = tiberon

Without getting into mariscos this is a list of the most common we find here in our markets. I'm sure I missed something and mis-IDed others. Help me out.

I'm sure there's an app for it.
