Temporary Import Permit - TIP - Question ?

I have a 10 year TIP for my boat. I want to change the motor on the boat.
Has anyone had to modify their TIP? Is this possible? Do I have to return TIP and get a new TIP? Anyone?
Thanks Brian

Following, I had the motor stolen from my boat a couple years after I got the TIP and I have not done anything about revising the paperwork for the new motor. Interested to see how involved it is. I do have a police report for the stolen motor.

Living Large in Loreto. Off-grid and happy.

yes take a photo of the new motor serial and boat vin or at least write it down and go to the port of entry and update it or have someone (expeditor) do it for you, you may need a new TIP
