Indeed he does... In an update he mentioned that.
He also has Agua Dulce on the wrong side of the main road...
Nothing is 100%, humans make mistakes, and sometimes maps have erroneous details as a copyright protection!
I will scan more of his maps... They are great fun to look at, 50+ years after he drew them.

He is not the only one I looked up the coordinates one day (Google) when I was in a hurry and got an incorrect placement on the wrong side of the
arroyo.
Fortunately David gave me the correct info.

A correction note on the mileage shown on the new road to Mike's Sky Rancho: Cliff put the new section of road in with "24" alongside of it. Then
there are more sections on to Hwy. 3 with 12.9 miles shown alongside them... total of 36.9 miles! It is actually just 20 miles total.
I will guess someone at the ranch told him it was "24 miles" for the road north to the Ensenada-San Felipe road (and not just the new section)?
That road out of Ensenada to Hwy. 5 wasn't all paved until late 1977, as I recall.

Cliff Cross' Baja Guide was published in 1970 but the field work was no doubt done over a span of at least two years, I suspect. So, the maps reflect
Baja of 1969 or shortly before.
My trip to the tip on the old main road was the summer of 1966. Paving southbound ended north of Colonet and began again about 100 miles north from La
Paz. Cliff Cross show a bit more added to that plus the new graded road between Mulegé and Puerto Escondido, which wasn't there or even under
construction in 1966. The main road didn't even go to Loreto... At the south end of Bahía Concepción, it went to Comondú and on to Pozo Grande,
then south to La Paz.
The change from old road via Comondú to new highway was in the 1972 Auto Club guide. The 1972 Auto Club guide also said work on the Transpeninsular
Highway was progressing to San Ignacio.
Seems that we can say Cliff's maps do seem to be showing us Baja around 1969/1970.

These maps are great! gives you a idea of how "new" everything was...
you'll be surprised or maybe not but A LOT of native Baja Californianos dont
know our own history either due to lack of interest or education so when i
see stuff like this it's like being a little kid again thanks to those people
actually documenting all this...real treasure's if you ask me. Thanks Mr.K
