Baja from Space

A thread with photos taken from orbit or beyond that show the peninsula we love...

I will begin with one I just saw on Facebook I find outstanding. It was posted by Sealtiel Enciso PĂ©rez onto the CONOCIENDO BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR page:

Good photo. Notice the eggshell thin atmosphere.

Interesting perspective, the mountain range is shaped a whole lot differently than I thought they were!

You don't get that view from google earth. Coincidentally, I believe that one of the vehicles that are used to create the "street view" just drove by the house I am at in Northern CA! I wonder how long it takes to update?

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

Something about that photo seems off, almost too pristine. No signs of construction or agriculture, or clouds in the afternoon.

Baja the way it was 15,000 years ago.

Also showed the curvature of the earth. I'm sure a few nomads will have a problem with that....... no palm trees to measure by.....
