Telcel phone - Rescatel service
OK, we've had Telcel phone service for x years (constant improvement, no complaints).
My car died on the road between Rosarito and La Mision last week.
I called english language customer service for Telcel and they referred me to Rescatel (a minor charge on my phone bill that I had been paying for
quite some time).
They took my info, checked my account, called me back with a reference number, name of the tow service and an(accurate) estimate of when the truck
would arrive.
BTY, I have a nice car and insisted on a flatbed tow truck, no problema!
They would have taken the car to the border, no charge, but I have a good mechanic in Ensenada, they took it there, $25 dollars.
There is a standard tow charge established. $300 between TJ and Ensenada. Where I was, it would have been $150.
BTW, the Rescatel people called me twice (or more) to make sure that I was OK.

Monthly cost for Rescatel
is MN $23.00 (US $2.00)
When we signed up for the Telcel service, it was something we added on, if I remember correctly.
Anyway, it is itemized on our monthly bills.
Customer service for Telcel is *111, when the automated operator comes on, you are given an English assistance option.
When I had the car trouble, of course I was on the roadside and didn't have a clue how to contact Rescatel.
Customer service answered my question, directing me to dial *100. Once again, the automated answering gave me the option for English language
assistance.
The operaters I talked to were thorough and professional and the tow truck showed up in a much shorter time than estimated!
