Rest In Peace Mako Bob, Baja was your dream and your courageous fight to make it yours was inspiring to follow. Since it was your time, I’m glad
you died where you longed to be.
(For those unfamiliar with the man, he posted more frequently on FB Talk Baja)
reality\'s never been of much use out here...

Bob was such an inspirational warrior, generous and kind. I wish him fair winds and tight lines on the other side.

I never met him but was so moved by his fight to come down to Baja to live out his dream.
He was the epitome of what it means to love to fish.
RIP and thanks for sharing your struggle and for demonstrating how much one can achieve with sheer determination.

I stopped an met him in March on my last trip, I had run across his boat build of FB. I felt lucky to have met him, he had a passion for building his
boat and fishing for sure.

That was him. I was the guy that helped him launch and went out with him.
He wouldn't let me paddle the whole time. He insisted on paddling us around for about 4 or 5 miles.
We caught some fish and had a good time. He will be missed!
