Heading north

We plan to leave Los Cabos sometime in June to drive to WA state. Are there any problems finding open hotels in Sur or Norte?

Too early to tell.

Check back a few days before you leave. Be prepared to auto-camp.

Friends who drove from pescadero to San Diego stayed in a hotel in vizcaĆno. Had a good drive all the way. Check points were mostly waved through.

We'll be heading north next week. We're prepared to pitch a tent at Santa Inez (Catavina) but prefer a room at the new Los Pinos store/motel. We stayed there on the way south last October. Everything brand new, A/C, $40 if I remember correctly.

Mr. DC 3 pilot, nice aircraft!! you are also on my list to contact. Just made the trip Cabo to San Diego. But my previous posts have been deleted or stopped. YOU are on my list to contact if I decide not to post my report due to my controversial attempt to stop the politics on this site.

We took it slow. 2 night in the peninsula.

Major difference between a Ch47 and a C40 (DC3). The way I read it he is a pilot of a CH47. We used to call them Chinooks and are helicopters. Got us in and out of serious trouble to many times to count. Maybe I'm a dinosaur and things have changed.

Yurt place is open. Confirmed this morning for my stay there in a week. Shhhh!

Have made a booking at Coral Marina in Ensenada for the next night. Don't know if they will actually be open or not.

If Baja Norte is still closed, am going to do Hwy 9 and get over the border to Calexico. Hotels are open there.

Yurt place is called Ignacio Springs Bed & Breakfast
Not Hwy 9... Hwy. 5 goes to the Calexico border.

Porky, what year did you finally say "Th-th-th-that's all folks!" (I meant flying a CH47)
