Fishing gear supply chain in Baja?

I have never bought a single thing in Baja, always brought my own stuff down and plenty of back up. I'm curious if the supply chain is basically empty in Baja as it is in NOB? The shelves in any fishing supply store will be about half full, if you're lucky. Even the fly shops a bit thin, not as bad as conventional gear.

stocks have been low on certain items here in Loreto, but theyve still got the basics

La Paz stores have been well stocked

I rented a building to a fishing sinker manufacturer, 40 year legacy business. State of Cali doesn't like melting lead only cold draw process allowed. Manufacturing went to China and then the Covid thing happened. His business is upside down now

Jansens in SJD and Cabo had plenty of stock when I went thru last month. They mostly cater to shore fishing but did have some offshore lures.

BassPro shop in my area has about 50-60% of the their "rods on display" empty. many empty slots in the shelves for weights, hooks, swivels and the like. Could not find any egg sinkers. Salt water and fly stuff not so bad.
