Tembabichi

I was wondering how the road into Tembabichi is? Is it passable? An if so, once out there, are there roads/trails we can drive along the coast?
Thanks!

Some pics from an Easter 2019 trip we did. The road has a fair amount of traffic, so I'm guessing it's in good shape.

I have kml tracks if you need them. It's well worth seeing. We didn't explore too much. Harold or Tom (TMW) can give you more info.

I've been there twice in 2012 and 2013. I don't know what maybe south along the coast but there is a road going north that has some pretty good beaches and worth exploring. The Hacienda and the family that owns it has an interesting history. It all started with a couple of pearls and 13 kids. My trip reports are here:

need to check this road out now that its not a billion degrees outside

the route to San Evaristo was lots of fun

Just drove the main dirt route last night from Mission San Javier up and over to Santo Domingo, was in pretty decent shape, no 4x4 required
