Halfway Inn Guerrero Negro

This hotel continues to be my favorite place for stopover in Baja Sur. Very pet-friendly with spacious rooms. Food in restaurant decent. Good value for the price.

Halfway Inn?

What a coincidence, as I am reading this, I am wearing a "Halfway Inn" T-shirt! It is not from Guerrero Negro though, it is from a long established roadhouse halfway between Nenana AK, and Fairbanks AK.

A tall skinny guy named Dick (R.I.P.) used to own it, so it is "Skinny Dick's halfway Inn"! I'm not making this up, it's a real place!

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

over the years I have stopped for a pop at skinny dicks many times.
whitekeys at the fly by night club had a routine he did about dicks you likely remember.

I also have a tee from SDHI no road trip to Fairbanks was complete without a beer stop at dicks. White keys and the flybynight club helped to put that place on the map.
