He does some cool trips. I was hoping to meet him when we were just in BOLA but he wasn’t there. Maybe next time. I guess I’ll have to bring him
a bear though😂

Graham already has a basket full of bears, however, it looks like a couple of tiny personal flotation devices would be appreciated!

Graham gets his wind forecasts from this site, via me: https://www.windfinder.com/forecast/bahia-de-los-angeles
He may move, didn't say why.

With bad winds blowing before today, Graham was finally able to move up the coast a short distance. Maybe to better protection?

North winds this time of year are sometimes brutal, usually off the water by 10 am. Living vicariously through Graham

Graham fixed the pole with duct tape but may take it down if the wind comes up. As of this morning (Sat Dec 26) he is in the same spot. Today and
tomorrow are calm days per the wind website... then again on the 1st of January.

Thu. 6:20pm, email!
Hola David,
Was surprised to be picked up by passing friends. I'm off the Island. Just in time for New Year.
Thanks for all those rapid wind reports.
More later. Have a great New Year.

Thanks David. Super to be back in casa in Bahia de los Angeles. Returned from island in time for New Year.
Didn't see anyone in two weeks - just lovely sunrises and sunsets, beautiful canyons, and moon-struck bears.
So many ospreys and ravens... often battling and dogfighting. But no coyotes or vultures on the 40-mile long island.
Sad not to be able to rescue that dolphin on Christmas day. Walked it into deeper water several times but it always circled to the right and beached
again. I suspect from the damage to its beak it was injured in a collision. Found it dead a couple of hours later.
Some great warm days but also wild winds... Had two tents. Tents down and "sleeping" in a body bag was only option. Rocks aplenty to weigh everything
down. A few had scorpions beneath.
Water clear and blue. Fishing great. Because I had a boat ride 30 miles over to the island, I could take plenty of water, food and beer.
A few pictures to convey the flavor of the Punta Rocosa area of Angel de la Guarda.
