Puerto San Carlos fishing

The offshore season is over. Now its time to fish locally both the nearby offshore islands and the estuary.

Been taking my friends boys out with us now as the days are shorter and so is our time on the water. They are on Christmas holiday and their mom appreciates the free time.

Cabrilla, grouper,, yellowtail,, sierra and barracuda are around the islands and the mangroves so far have produced corvina, pargo, cabrilla and quite a few golden trevally, a beautiful, hard fighting jack.

This week we are going out extra early and try for snook. Again.
