Sippin' Tequila
Many years ago on a trip down While in search of some sipping stuff I had come accross a bottle of Tequila with a Bighorn Sheep on it. It was called
Cimarron (still available online but w slightly different label). Being a Wildlife guy naturally I chose this one as it was also at a reasonable
price. On multiple trips down there I have since kept an eye out for this brand but have not found it in any of the big or small markets... so I buy
other stuff... My palate is not an expensive one but I do like the smoother sipping Tequilas. What other brands does anyone recommend that are of
decent sipping quality and won't break the bank?

Jimador is a less expensive brand sold by Herradura, and I like it better than most others I've tasted. Their reposado and añejo are both excellent
sipping tequilas but won't break the bank. Their blanco and reposado are my go-to tequilas for margaritas or other mixers.

My new favorite (until the next one comes along) is Herradura Cristalino. Not cheap, but not an ultra speedy one either.
I’ve tried several bottles of that Uber spendy stuff, nice but not worth it in my humble opinion.

Any expression by Siete Leguas, Fortaleza, G4, Pasote, El Tesoro, Tapatio, Calle 23, Suerte. If you are in CA, often some of these can be obtained at
deep discounts at Costco.
Check out https://tequilamatchmaker.com and https://tastetequila.com for reviews and all you'd ever want to know about Tequilas.

Sipping Don Julio Blanco. Margs Cabo Wabo, Kirkland brand Blanco.

The reposado is pretty good for sipping also and reasonably priced.

I think you'd like Agavero - a tequila liqueur with damiana.

I have a new favorite! Maestro Dobel Diamanté. Tastes very good and is smooth. Cheaper than Hurradura Cristalino. It’s worth a try.

Never understood the drinking of chilled tequila. Guess I should try sometime. Is it to mask the flavor or harshness perhaps?
