Mexicali crossing today

Nothing really to report, thankfully. Crossed in with a green light, picked up the FMM stamp, and proceeded to GN area without incident.

Mask-wearing does not seem to be universal, but I'm making sure to do so. The few people I've interacted with have been friendly as usual.

Looking forward to a nice month down here, I think! :)

La Bocana is on my list! I hear there's some great kayak fishing over that way.

As others have noted, there was zero need to stop at the San Ignacio checkpoint going south, and the same was true north of Loreto -- full wave-through without even a "where are you coming from/where are you headed?"

Now that I'm here, I feel extra-motivated to be careful and not catch covid -- the "told ya so's" from my family and friends (who at the moment are palpably envious) would never end . . . :)

Wow just don't get how you guys don't think you are not part of the problem spreading covid .

Just had a friend die of covid in ligui . I don't think it started there . It Had to come from someone moving outside the village or Someone traveling to the village from anoughter place.

Maybe someone on a carefree vacation. :?:
