Be specific when answering where the photo was taken. Hints will be added when guessing fails.

The Nomad who answers the most will win a book, their choice of one of four offerings, if there is a U.S. address I can mail it to.

A) In the Shadow of the Volcano, by Mike Humfreville
B) Guacamole Dip, by Daniel Reveles
C) Portrait of Paloma, by Harry Crosby
D) Old Missions of the Californias, by Max Kurillo & David Kier

#3 is Hotel Colonet -- I know this because I tried to get a room there during the 1000 (there were none).

#11 abandoned building either a little north or a little south of Punta Prieta. I think south at the junction of a road headed west.

Is number 11 the abandoned building off hyw 1 somewhere around insurgentes that used to say "big fat gay Al" Always used to feel sorry for the guy who was memorialized in that graffiti.

It was on a curve.

Of those two guesses, bkbend is far closer to being correct! That said, I will give it to him. On the map, it is La Bachata and at Km. 24.5, south of Punta Prieta.

Thanks Harald!

So, just two remain (#1 & #12)...

HINTS:

#1 is in the northern state.

#12 is too!

One is on the gulf side and the other is on the Pacific side.

Hint #2 for photo #12...

Surfers or tourist fishermen might stay here?
