That was one of the best video trips I have seen especially the whale segment.

Fantastic shots and vid esp. the whales. Thinking of getting a van (custom built one online at about $160k. Like bells and whistles) and
caravanning down with ya'll.
Q: at about 13 minutes, your van looks stuck in sand. Was it?

This will be a good video to share with friends and relatives that wonder why I like to go drive all around Baja with my dog. I am familiar with so
may of the parts you shared, that it makes me want to get on the road again!
Good idea digging holes for you tires to set into. That tall boy van must be tough to climb into without lowering it a little.
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

My wink to DK offering a tip was referring to his good reminders to air down. I imagine David can appreciate the jest.
Too bad you don't get it.

Well done sir, well done. You hit all of the good spots. Really like your van set up, anymore info you can share about it?

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone!
As for being stuck in the sand, I didn't feel like airing down and paid the price. After getting stuck, I ate a sandwich, enjoyed the view, aired
down to 30 PSI and it crawled right out. I do a lot of solo travel and am very familiar with what it takes to get my van stuck and what it is capable
to crawl out of so I wasn't worried at all. I also carry all the reasonable recovery items without going crazy.

Happy to. What would you like to know? Here's a video a Swiss couple did while I was COVID stranded with them in Guatemala last year. There's a
couple little mistakes on what he is showing vs what is being said in his edits, but not too bad. I hate watching myself on video though! I've
become an old F...!

Note: "Bahía" takes an accent. And I suspect "Wilsóndo" does not(?)
|
Thanks on Bahía.
Wilsóndo is my made up name for him, so it's correct in my mind. Say it out loud with the accent where it is and I assure you it is correct!

You keep track of how many editing hours you put into the video?
|
10-15 hours?? I'm retired and it gave me something to do since I had to be home while the contractors were beating the hell out of my kitchen
downstairs.
