Looking for a knowledgeable mechanic in San Jose Del Cabo Area
'08 Tundra started making some lose metal clanking sounds in the engine bay a couple weeks ago, the problem hasn't gotten worst, but it hasn't gone
away either. Would like a referral for someone to take a look, we are staying on the east cape but can drive to San Jose Del Cabo. Thank you!!

Engine noises are usually pretty easy to locate and then diagnose. Could be the timing chain/tensioner. I don't have a reference but I always look
for busy, well-equipped shops. The "well-equipped" shops may be hard to find. I once had a transmission taken apart and repaired in a mechanic's back
yard by a guy who kept his tools in an old refrigerator. - Baja

Taller Mecanico Quade in San Jose del Cabo. Google Mike's shop for directions. I always have to re-learn how to get there. Not hard with directions.
Look at reviews on FB.
No b-tchin\' in the Baja.

If it's only when you are driving, check the bolt that holds the upper A arms on. I had one loosen up and it was the washer fluttering in the air
blowing thru.

Might save a mechanic some time because that loose nut is not very obvious and anyone with any mechanical ability could just look and see. The fix is
just tighten it up.
