I always see the guy flying around San Felipe and giving ride for a small fee, I'll pass. RIP to the pilot, died doing what he loved and not driving to work.

Happens more than you know.
There are already some crosses on the coastal mountain ridge by Puerto Salina from past crashes. Updrafts are the lure.

Yaw, pitch & roll, keep it under control.

Several years ago in Lima, Peru, we had one crash about 200 yards in front of us as we drove up a canyon on a 4-lane from the beach back to our hotel. He did not survive. Yes, it does happen more than we realize.

RIP Gustavo.
Some say Airspeed, Altitude or brains. you need at least 2 of the 3 to survive.
I've flown and done some risky things in the past but those paragliders are really dangerous.

Crazy, first flight my wife took was in a ultra light and she loved it, but she was still scared of commercial flights? I remember a lot of them had VW motors, I've had a lot of bugs that broke down often, not good in flight!

Be sure to wear a parachute!
Can’t they put a parachute on the aircraft so whole thing gets let down gently?

Woke!

I agree that it is wonderful that he was doing what he loved to do.

apparently he had heart issues and this may have been a factor.

RIP

Water landings are not a good thing, except for Captain Sully of course!
