road to la purisma

Has anyone taken the road from Mex1 near Bahia Conception to La Purisma lately? I am wondering if the Baja 1000 hurt the road....I was considering taking my Honda CRV over from Loreto.

Until you get a new report, here is a recent post asking about that road. I added my photos from 2017: http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=96938

I was on the road from La Purisima to K59/hwy 1 a couple days before the 1000. There had been quite a bit of pre-running at the time and it could be different after the race, although I doubt it is much different.

It had some pretty significant larger washboard, but for the most part not terrible. I believe you will be fine if you take your time.
