Wow David, you have been busy. Long time ago we talked about documenting the Baja historical sites before they are gone. Many are gone now, but you
have done an amazing job of organizing and preserving these sites for others for all time. Well done!

Thanks Jack!
I have a few pages devoted to historical content.
Yes, you and I worked a lot to make these sites more 'real' and perhaps important by documenting them with photos and other details.
Here are some of the historic pages or links on VivaBaja.com:
The Spanish Missions and Visitas in Baja California (Photos, GPS, History)
Mission-basic-facts-names-dates-founders/
Quick look Mission Photos, north to south
Baja California Maps (1701-2021) click here for over 200 maps!
Lost Mission Ruins?: Found! 1966 & 2009
HISTORIC PHOTOS OF BAJA CALIFORNIA
Jack Swords’ Baja History Gallery
William Lacy and Molino de Lacy
William Walker in Baja, 1853
Margaret Brown Baldwin, early 1900s
Having the ability to easily make new pages and edit content on VivaBaja is most rewarding! Before, I was at the mercy of my webhost... a great guy
but busy so I didn't want to bug him too much.
You have great photos of the missions from around 2000 to 2003. Many of them were used for the mission page and in my book. When I was able to take
new photos during my many trips after 2003, I would replace your older ones with my newer ones.
Now, I think I will make a Jack Swords Mission Photos page for a look at the ancient artifacts as they were 20 years ago, plus, your photo quality is
so much better than mine!
