San Felipe area UTV rides.

Hola a todos!

Please share your recommendations for current partial day UTV rides in and nearby/surrounding the San Felipe area.

Most enjoyable?
Most unique?
Most canyons?
Most hills?
Most views?
Most challenging?

Muchas gracias!

Here is my link that shows arroyo images for many selected race and non race tracks.
http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=96069

Stick to the routes close to town for the safest.
Don't go alone until you know about off roading and have a tracker like SPOT or Inreach.
A group that includes UTV's are Sidewinders for Friday trips. Not much now - too hot. Meet up with other UTV folks and join their group.
Do you have a maps. I recommend the Baja California Atlas, available on Amazon. Also the reprint of the Baja Almanac latest edition is now available.
Buy a GPS and find folks that will share tracks.

See where I have posted Wornout's Relive photo maps in the Trip Reports forum here.
Various day trips out from San Felipe. There are also more canyons to explore than he has showed.
See my website for more on them. www.vivabaja.com

Only my two cents riding Baja . In San Felipe very few good spots to ride dirt bikes and sxs. Yes many places to ride most all ex race course routes. Flat silt rocks woops all over run yes as I said few places of good riding. I invite you anytime you come to west side hour out of Ensenada. We can show you what we feel is best riding in Baja. We ride every week SXS dirt bike 4x4 and prerunners. Send PM if you want join we drive easy just explore nature.

Does anyone have and be willing to share any good UTV Trail/Navigation .gpx files for around San Felipe 🇲🇽?…

I would love to input them into my POLARIS Ride Command System.

I have hundreds of gpx trails near San Felipe. Pick a place and send me a PM and I will reply with the gpx track.
Refer to the link I posted for suggestions.

tracks are worth money now - few are willing to share.

And by the way - why not hop into your rattle can and aim for a mountain.
Any mountain.

Really? How much they sell for?

Your thoughtful feedback is truly something else…
And by the way - I can only imagine how amazing it might be when/if you actually have an applicable/positive/constructive nugget to share one day ✌🏻

There is plenty of riding west of town, some of which is the Baja 250 course. Just head west on Zoo Road and explore. Have fun!

There are several canyons, west from San Felipe, facing Valle Chico and the Diablo Dry Lake. Many of these canyons with running water and palm tress. Some have petroglyphs... I wrote small articles on them. Some hiking beyond the end of the road or through cattle control fences.
For an added thrill, if you come across drip irrigation tubes, you found a marijuana field (past or present)... RUN!

Have a great time!
Many trips for beach camping south of San Felipe had me getting restless for exploring, so I began seeking lost roads through the mountains going back to the late 1970s.

My area maps over the years were revised as I improved my mapping skills and traveled more back country roads... https://vivabaja.com/davids-san-felipe-south-maps-1967-2004/
