Los Cabos resort recommendation
It's been 25 years since we've been to Los Cabos/CSL, have a December long weekend planned and need recommendations - looking to be in the $1k/night
range. some of the prices online are truly mind boggling.
Thanks

I agree. I'll be in Europe for a few weeks soon. Good hotels in Paris and florence
Are cheaper. What bums me out is the staff at these cabo hotels are earning a fraction of their European counterparts....
I find cabo san lucas repellent. Having a Costco is the only redeeming quality I can identify

IF...you decide on CSL we've been really happy with Casa Dorado, since the late 80's we've been spending a week around thanksgiving, our local resort
next door turned into the newest hipster joint so we moved on. CSL not for everyone but we love it. salud!

Can you provide more of your specific requirements.
Moderate? High End?
Beach? Marina?
Walking distance to marina area/downtown ?
If you wish to communicate with me directly, or via U2 message I would be happy to offer suggestions based upon more info of your preferences. Lori

Our first trip to Baja was "Dreams Los Cabos". It was a "Rewards and Recognition" trip courtesy of my wife's parent company, so we didn't have to pay
a dime, but eventually we got tired of food tailored for gringos within a concrete compound. A few months later I found a heavily discounted rate for
the same resort on CheapCaribbean.com and skipped the all-inclusive dinners, eventually taking a day trip to Todos Santos. Breakfasts were great, and
there was a free shuttle from the airport, so we have an overall good impression of the place, but after that, we sought out casitas to rent in Todos
Santos and El Pescadero.

Do you want a resort? Stay in cabo.
There are some very cool places out in cabo pulmo if you want something less “resorty.” Visit it now before it gets ruined like todos santos got
ruined by too many too big gringo vacation homes.

Check out RIU, they have a few resorts there. All inclusive, including a wet bar in your room.
Two dirt roads diverged in Baja and I, I took the one less graveled by......

San Jose del Cabo is nice if you like a more relaxed pace in a “real”
Mexican town. I haven’t stayed in a hotel there, but this one in the older section of town is on my list for a low key resort option in the heart of
downtown with lots to explore:
https://www.casanatalia.com/
…and this one on a beach for the mega resort option:

When the way comes to an end, then change. Having changed, you pass through.
