Why was it closed so long? Any changes in camp? Same owners?

I think COVID closed it. We checked it out last spring and it was a bit rundown. There were a couple of RVs, and the folks said someone was coming
around and collecting rent. Hopefully, they've spruced it up and have the restaurant open.

Stayed there several times in the little rental shacks and loved it. Most moto guys aren't that picky about accommodations. The food and location were
amazing.

I have been by there a couple of times, but it was always on my way to somewhere else, so I have not checked it out.
I would be eager to hear more about it, and if dogs are allowed.

Pretty sure dogs were ok. They have a couple of rental yurts that are pretty nice, also camping along the water.

I copied it off of their Facebook page, which hasn't been updated since March 2020.

I think it closed before covid but I am not sure anymore. Lots of RVs stayed there for months. The food was good and the margaritas too!

I heard back that the restaurant has been remodeled and they are working on the cabins.
I am waiting to hear what the current rate for the cabins are.
Does anyone else have a question they want me to ask?

What do they charge for camping and what accommodations do they have for them, IE, showers/bathrooms.... I don't remember seeing any spots on my last
trip, but I was so busy enjoying the area I could have missed it.

I will check it out next week 9/3 -9/11 and report it here. We usually have lunch/ beers and fish there at least 4-5 times per trip to the area.

I have been the 4 or 5 times in the last 18 months. The restaurant has been closed for all of that time but I camped on the premises. The was
generally a guy from the co-op that would be there to take your money at 200 pesos per night for camping, but sometime not. As time went by there
were more accoutrements like power on occasion and hot water showers. (solar) Toilet flush was always with a bucket but probably has changed now.
Launch ramp was always available and estero fishing is great and it's a bird watchers paradise. Hope the new restaurant operators can make a go of
it.
