Let someone else do the dirty work. Lets see if this reduces the wait times. Since they completed $85 million phase two at SY I have seen the double stacked booths operating once or twice.

Note to self - don't get in line behind a 'suspicious automobile'.

If they reassigned the officers currently doing the "pre check" in the line to open up all the lanes it might speed things up, but they won't.

On the bright side, a new toll crossing is moving forward. I would gladly pay twenty bucks to avoid that mess.

Any operation involving the Tijuana municipal police will be ripe with corruption. IMHO they are a city funded crime organization primarily interested in extortion from anyone they come in contact with. I'm sure they are interested in this as a massive new revenue stream because the people lining up to cross into the US are their primary targets to extort on the streets. This is like a dream come true for them with pre-filtered targets in line to be extorted.

north bound

At least now I can actually turn in my 7 day FMM returning to the US.
I wonder if the INS officials will be shaking down people without a FMM.
Oh ya, forgot I stopped north bound San Ysidro crossing.
