Any of the rental companies rent Jeeps in Loreto?
Someone told me Hertz does, but they don't come up on their website.
Rented a Jeep a long time ago from the rental place in the town. Tried calling them, but they are closed today.

You expected them to be open?
They're probably just waking up bleary-eyed and looking around town for menudo.
Related question on the jeep rentals: Every rental contract I've seen in Mexico prohibits taking the vehicle off-road. Do jeep contracts include the
same stipulations? |
Never seen a rental car contract that allowed offroad use.
Many people, including me, say rental cars make the best offroad vehicles.
Use and abuse at your own risk!
Woke!

My experience with rental agencies is that that will gladly reserve just about anything you could ask for. That doesn't mean that they actually have
the vehicle, or would pass up renting to a customer that gets there before you, but at least they have you coming in to rent
something!
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

I'm going to send someone to the place several hours before we arrive to confirm things.

Perviously, you said you only travel in Mexico with security guards. Can’t you just tell your security detail to bring specific vehicles? Do your
security guards also act as your drivers?

Why rent just buy a used one of your liking and fix it up the way you want it. Then you'll always have it to use.
