Mood: Have Baja Fever

[*] posted on 11-28-2024 at 12:02 PM

Thank you... same to you... all!

This year, we all are at Casa Kier in North San Diego County, on a beautiful sunny but a bit cool) morning. In the oven is a 22 lb. bird and there will be lots of sides and desserts. The diet can wait!

Each person that had a special side or dessert from their family has that option to have it again. For me, my dad made a green jello 'salad' that we sometimes call 'Martian salad' (lemon jello, lime jello, crushed pineapple, cottage cheese, mayo, evaporated milk, and crushed macadamia nuts). I made it yesterday. Only a couple family members like it as much as I. More for me, ha ha!
