Rock Art Symposium - Nov. 1 - Zoom

JOIN US FOR SAN DIEGO'S 50th ROCK ART SYMPOSIUM
Saturday, November 1, 2025 Via Zoom

The San Diego Rock Art Symposium was founded in 1976 by Ken Hedges, then a Curator at the San Diego Museum of Man, and the Museum's Education Coordinator, Ruth Gautereaux. When the Museum discontinued its archaeological programs, the meeting was taken over by SDRAA. This year, Ken is hosting his 50th Symposium, and for 2025 we are turning to our roots with an in-depth program focusing on the rock art styles of southern California and the many surrounding regions that have influenced rock imagery in the greater Colorado Desert region, from the Mojave Desert to southwestern Arizona and the northern state of Baja California.

Thank you wilderone.

I cannot get enough and this is after visiting the two ancient rock sites

near GN, and wanting more.

I hope to be there on Nov.1.
