Bad things can happen when you venture out of your comfort zone. We try and take all precautions and hope for the best.

We appreciate the information and insight.

Baja Norte has changed in the 40+ years we have been enjoying it.The odds are that someday we will be posting about our own misfortune. Until then we will keep trying to have fun and see the world.

If you stop getting out there the bad guys win!

Be safe and have fun!

There's a big sign on our car

with a picture. The sign says "Security Dog".

And, the dog is waiting inside.

No problems in Ensenada, ever.

Hose A [ Add dishonest cops + a large population of thieves + almost non existent job market + very little tourist money + rapidly rising cost of living and you have a picture of Ensenada.] And you have a picture of why there is so much theft going on. This is a formula for all sorts of problems. Looks to me like the old mayor did very little to help the situation in Ensenada. Its too bad because Ensenada used to be a very fun place with lots to do. Now, you have all the above---plus huge traffic jams. Its beginning to look alot like Tijuana.
