GPS antenna
dose anyone have an extra GPS antenna that they would want to sell. I think most of them will work on a Garmin GPSMAP 220.

That unit sells for 129.00 normally, but found it one place for 99.00. It does fit your unit. Bruce when you buy something out of a pawn shop cheap
you have to make sure you have the antenna

I lost mine. but here is a website that shows you how to make one. it took me about an hour to make and I substituted aluminum foil for the hobby
brass.
I made this out of things out of my junk box and it did not cost anything. I get 2 more satellites than with the 100 dollar factory antenna.

It looks like its ok for an emergency antenna, but in the long run I think youll have to replace it because it doesn't look like it will take any
abuse, or weather.
