Mex-1 looks like I-5

Saturday I drove from bola to san diego and there was a very heavy stream of vehicals off all shapes and sizes including a few bicyclists heading south. It was the highest concentration of california license plates I have ever encountered on mex-1. It was literally non stop. No one was heading north. If you are planning on heading south over the next two weeks just be prepaired for some company. By the way the canadians beat the californians south allready. fishin rich

Hi Rich... So, you just got out in time, eh? Thanks for the many posts from all over the peninsula... I enjoyed reading about your travels and fish hunting.
As I just said to frizkie, the kids and I are trying very hard to be in Bahia for New Year's. Wish you were there to join us, amigo!

Canadians beat the Californians? Oh, Oh, this board is too political for me---I am leaving it forever and never coming back until they catch Bin Laden. Oh how I long for the old days of the Amigos board. This is horrible. So political I just may go shoot myself. Jumpin Jimminy whatever will I do.

Skeet. Well, not everybody was angry with you. I certainly never was--I enjoyed all those totally misguided comments!

Glad to know you're okay--I worried about you when you just up and disappeared.

Angry?

Skeet, my good man, I would never be angry with you. Since anger caused much of my heart problems, I have done away with it. I was just having a little political fun with those that are always b-tching about this board. I am happy we have a board to use as I check it frequently for updated info on Loreto. As for the beer---I have been dry for over 25 years now. I come from a long line of Irishmen and that, my good friend, is a curse. I will be in Loreto, Baja Sur, sometime around the middle of January for a couple of months. Have a great holiday. You and I have alot to celebrate about---like the extension of our lives. Russ: I have t0 tell you that I think I helped in your success and recovery. I read a powet that you were going into surgery so just being reinstated in Church and Virginia having to learn how to Pray we were looking for someone to practice on so we invoked your name during our practice and lo and Behold it worked. The Power of Prayer.!!!

I have about one beer a month , the best way to use the beer is stick a full chicken on top of an open can sitting on the BBQ. cook for two hours . Try it sometime it is Delicious. Skeet

Angry With You

Skeet. You think those of us who post on the off-topic forum were angry with you? I sure wasn't, even with your misguided comments, to borrow Bajalera's words.

Padre Skeet

Ahh--you prayed for me. Well, I got better anyway. I would have prayed for you too, but the man upstairs doesn't always listen to me. I still have a lot of pentance to do. Thank you for your prayers. The Sea of Cortez is my church. God created it for guys like us to enjoy. Have a great holiday. Viva Loreto!:)

Hey, Rich n Roja

I guess that means you won't be in BOLA for New Years...DRAT!!!
So Rich, I hear the BOLA road was recently paved, or at least worked on in some of the worst spots. Was that a dream I had? Or is it truth? What did you think of it's condition? Is it any better than last year?
Sure hope I find you and Roja in Baja somewhere this year.......I'll be lookin':o

bola road

Barbara! the bola road is fine, paved a little more than half way and then the potholes are being repaired the rest of the way. Takes about 45 minutes to drive there from mex-1. They are even paving the la gringa road. It has been oiled all the way to daggetts camp. The plan is for roja and I to spend the winter in panama. I am tired of the cortez wind in the winter. enjoy it all!!! fishin rich

Sharky: Yes the Sea of Cortez has been a Church for me for the past 37 years. It is difficult to live on those waters without realizing that the Survival of the Fitest actuallu works as it does in Humans.Do Not worry about the pentance. Jesus even accepts all of us.
Sharky you have been around and you know "Of what you Speak" it show up even in a Off=topic Political Post.

The Devil made me do it!! I just had to post again. Sure do not like to see these youngsters being led down the False Path of the likes of Howard Dean.

it is reassuraning to know that some of them will grow up to visit Loreto and the Sea Of Cortez and be Humbled by its secrets.
have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Skeet
