Just no perment structures. Ray's can stay for now and Anna's is not on that property. Could be wrong |
Please clarify what you mean regarding Anna's.

There was a thread that talked about waving at passing people as you traveled and as I remminis (how do you spell that word?) about the places I have
lived it seems that is the first thing to go before there is a major attitude change. I'm a relative newbie in the lower baja. Only 16 years and 13 of
that full time. But times they are a changing. I talk to those that were here before me and we wallow in the memories of "the way it was." But in
another five or ten years I'll probably be doing the same with my new friends too. I do love the Baja, now, before and hopefully in the future. Wave
on Momads!

As my pal Rey says, "These are the good old days."
People still wave as they pass on the east cape road out of San Jose/La Playita. Although many of the ranch roads in the area are quite well
maintained, the coast road to our house is still 11 miles of mal camino. The rumour is that is will be paved any time, but that has been said for 20
years that I know of. As it is right now the drive to town for supplies can be grueling, but most people on the road from the pipa drivers, to the
laborers, the fishermen, the surfers, the ranchers and the gringo home owners all seem to share a camaraderie. Although we will enjoy the pavement
when it inevitably comes, we will miss this special bonding and slowing down of life that the bad road begets.
No b-tchin\' in the Baja.
