Thank you to BajaRob!

I would like to thank BajaRob for the loan of an extremely useful tool this past weekend.

We (my wife and I) had the task of setting 44' of 6"x 10" beams broken down to roughly 3- 14' footers 14' high on our second floor addition. We couldn't have done it without the loan from Rob. We set the beams accurately and safely and now we are ready to set all of the open beam rafters in a couple of weeks.

Just another example of Baja neighbors helping one another.

Thanks again Rob!

Chuck and Chris

You win the prize. ( must be present to win ). The tool is a Vermitte high lift jack. I set an 8" x 24" x 30' glue lamb next door 12' off the deck with it by myself. It is rated @ 500 pounds but obviously will lift much more. It is a mini fork lift.

I am a landscaper and build lots of patio covers with big beams. Our local rental yard has a couple of these which are much safer than trying to kill yourself on a ladder. They are surprisingly portable too and fairly sturdy with the outriggers.
