Campo Rene 150 pesos!
Gee,
Seems like when I first asked about Campo Rene, it started WW III. No time to read it all now.
We were there a few days ago and paid 150 pesos. LOVE the place. Canīt wait to go back.
Will do a trip report when we are home---Loved Bahia Ascuncion and the trip along the coast to Abreojos. Much more later.
Wish we could stay down here a lot longer.
For now
Diane
P.S. Donīt forget to log out when you are using a public computer. I am in Mulege and when I went to Baja Nomads, Diver was logged in on this
computer. I could have posted lots of awful things and everyone would have thought it was Diver.

Good thing that we Nomads are like brothers and sisters... sometimes we fight, but we also can help each other!

Glad to here it wasn't 500 peso's. $15 and $50 sound a lot alike I guess.
Good news to all that want to visit Campo Rene.

jdtrotter or others,
I would love more detailed information regarding the drive from Bahia Asuncion to Abreojos and also Bahia Tortugas to Bahia Asuncion.
I plan to depart Southern California in early March with my final destination being The East Cape. I have driven 3 round trips, and did travel from
Abreojos to La Bocana last year.
Are there any gas stops? How were the roads? Any other tips? Plan on tent camping.
I drive a Jeep Rubicon,
Thanks

Well, that is the great part of this board. I talked to my friends who went and the gal in the restaurant even wrote it out so something broke down
somewhere, but they ended up happy at Chelos. But glad to hear that the whole thing was a mistake and they are not charging Hilton prices for the
plywood mansion

jdtrotter...Asuncion loved you too...the primary school director was so very happy with your donation of school supplies and he asked me to thank you
very much. Hope to see you again in the summer.
