BAJA BOOK ~1941 ~ ON e BAY~ FORGOTTEN WATERS

I listed on E bay the 1941 hard back book by Randolph Leigh "FORGOTTEN WATERS."

Very interesting historical book about times and places of Baja long forgotten.

Check under books, then Baja

Beginning listing: $9.95 hard earned Yankee dollars,

More Baja books to be listed in the near future..

Yes there are a lot of great books --hidden treasures- on Ebay.

Sadly the vintage Baja books are currently attracting such a narrow band of interest that they are disappearing from the used book shelves and in to the trash all too often.

Next time you are in a used book store check out Baja vs any war--Civil, WW1, WW11, Korea the ratio is 1000s to one Baja book.

Baja Books just don't sell in the used book market

We are so fortunate that E bay came along when it did.

I'm sure there were thousands more published on those subjects than regarding Baja, CA. In San Diego, Baja books are very popular, and when you find them in used book stores, they're overpriced. Alibris.com and bookfinder.com have plenty of Baja books at competitive prices. You could easily find and buy 200 Baja books in a day using online sources.

Cool!! I bought 2 copies (The Unforgettable S of C) and still have one in perfect condition. The other I sold for the $40 price I paid for it to some guy in a bar down in La Playita.
But recently I found out an old narrative I bought for $10 and lent out never to be seen again, is now going for $42. It`s "With John Steinbeck on the Sea of Cortez", written by Sparky the cook. He really unloads on John`s wife Carol who went on the trip but was never mentioned in "The Log of the Sea of Cortez".
