Tequila Tasting Contest May 5, 2007 Pyramid Resort

Join us for the annual tequila tasting contest held at the Pyramid Resort, just south of Rosarito Beach, on May 5, 2007. It will follow Keri's booksigning event the same day.

Rules--there are none. Just bring a bottle of tequila to share. A wee bit gets poured into a wee glass for tasting by the participants. Choose your favorite in this blind tasting. Vote for it and bring a smile to the person that brought it.

It's free. You are only asked to bring a bottle to participate. You can leave your bottle (and I PROMISE you it will go to a very good cause.....are other informal tequila tastings amongst friends a good cause?), or you can take it with you at the end of the contest.

It's fun. I don't think anyone has ever gotten flat out, face on the great white elephant ear drunk. At least, no one that is admitting it.

It's informal. No one expects you to be an expert to participate. You don't even have to try all the tequilas if you don't want to, though most people at least try a sip. I am certainly no expert in this field. I just happen to be the one that sets it up. So come and join us and relax. It's all just for fun.

This year there will be two categories. The first is straight up tequilas. The second will be tequila liquors and anything tequila related that is not a straight tequila.

The tasting is Saturday night, roughly about 8 p.m. It will be in the community room that Keri has graciously provided each year for the booksigning.

Questions? contact me by U2U. My reply may be a bit slow in coming, but I will answer you.

Thanks Bernie

Yes it would be so very nice to see you all again. But the only thing I accomplished last night during the experiment was seeing double. I plan these fishing things eight nine months in advance. They take on a life of their own. We have 14 fokes in the group this year for our fishing trip. Sooooo I guest the die is cast so to speak. But I sill have fond memories of all the year I did show. BTW as an update in my profile, I retired from NLVFD, devorsed wife #3, Bought a ranch in Utah, and now work for Riverside County Fire as a Fire Systems Inspector.
