Cielito Lindo (Dave & Juanita) has a new web site URL

The new site is: http://www.tijuanajail.com

The explanation of why that name is in there!

A new forum/ message board and lots of photos of Rancho Cielito Lindo activities, too

How many can remember www.BajaSi.com?

Dave - if yur monitoring here....the pista is in poor shape, go to BBP and see some of the comments. few are willing to go there now.
i know you guys aren't so concerned with fly in revenue now as retirado but you kept the RW acreage right?
so get a tractor and get it back to like when way cool Bob was alive!
FYI - last time in for me was july 2006, remember? waiting out the fog at El Socorrito and Cielito Lindo was the only clear spot around at 11:00.
but sheesh....those soft spots and berms....muy malo por mi avion amigo!

The pista is leased out to Rogelio, in Waycool house, with the stipend of no landing fees. At least he will probably have to fix it before the annual inspection next month

thx Dave or Juanita, whomever answered!
i'd really like to be able to add CL to my short list of reasonably close fly in camp spots on the cool pacific!

as soon as you feel he has properly graded it can you post here and on the BBP board?
heck, i'd pay a landing fee if it were reasonable if that would help his kitty fund.

good to hear from you guys again. remember when the BBP and Jack used to do a yearly trip to CL? those were fun times.

Echo the sentiments of C. Mike. I will have 5 planes and 15 guys in the area, and looking for a good time at the end of august. We are more than willing to contribute to the grading of the runway.

hey Cap - if they don't fix it consider campo Lorenzo to land and you can stay at the old mill next door.
or you can land at El Socorrito and there's camping palapas at the end.

hope to hook up with you whenever.

Wasn't that song, by the Kingston Trio, about a raid at the Rosarito Hotel, when they had gambling?

Yeah we are planning to land at lorenzo, thanks. We will be looking to cool off on our first night, the last few years we started at Alfonsina's but, I fear loosing a cabo boy when they try to sleeep in the water and the tide comes in. I have to be especially careful because we have 2 rookies on this year's trip.
BTW Your shirt will be in on the 23rd. I think I have your address still.
Cheers
Cap
